At Home Valentine’s Dinner for Two

| | | | |

This year, Steve and have I decided that we’re going to spend Valentine’s Day at home and make a special dinner together. While it’s fun to go out for a nice dinner, it just seems like it will be more fun to stay home and have a relaxing evening cooking together.

We’ve decided we’re going to go with an Italian themed dinner. We’re going to start out with caprese bruschetta, which is an easy and delicious appetizer.

For the second course, we’ll enjoy a cup of minestone. It’s full of flavor and it’s not too heavy for a starter.

The star of the dinner will be homemade pasta topped off with my bolognese sauce. Making your own pasta is fun and it tastes amazing.

The bolognese is rich and meaty and just so darn good! To finish off the dinner, we’re going to make cream puffs with mascarpone cream filling. We’ll enjoy them with a cranberry champagne cocktail.

So why not spend Valentine’s day at home with your sweetie and make this Italian dinner, too?
