Crispy Chicken Parm Pizza

Since the Chipotle Ranch Crispy Chicken Pizza I made the other day was such a hit, I decided to give those delicious Tyson Crispy Chicken Strips another go around and came up with another tasty pizza. In my opinion, you can never have too much pizza, so I always love new ideas for topping my pizza.
This time, I took all the components of chicken parmesan and topped the pizza. It really is a simple idea, but the result was amazing. The juicy chicken with it’s crispy crust along with lots of cheese and sauce is a delicious explosion of flavor in your mouth. It’s sure to be a crowd pleaser!
Crispy Chicken Parm Pizza
- 8 oz (about 1/3 of 25 oz pkg) Tyson Crispy Chicken Strips
- 1 (1 lb) ball of your favorite pizza dough
- 1/3 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
- Italian seasoning
Bake chicken strips according to package instructions.
Once chicken has finished baking, increase oven temperature to 550 degrees.
Cut chicken into bite size pieces.
Sprinkle counter with flour and roll pizza dough out into a 12 inch circle.
Transfer dough to a pizza peel or an upside down baking sheet that’s generously coated with corn meal (this will help the pizza to slide off).
Spread pizza sauce evenly over pizza crust.
Sprinkle 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese over the pizza sauce.
Top with chicken strip pieces.
Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and all of the parmesan cheese.
Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
Gently shake pizza off of the pizza peel or baking sheet onto the preheated pizza stone.
Bake for 8 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
Remove from oven, slice and serve.
